I didn’t just start a painting business; I built a career on the belief that a home deserves more than a “production-line” finish.

My journey in the trade began 38 years ago. Since then, I’ve seen every trend, every product evolution, and every unique architectural challenge the industry has to offer. In 1999, I took that lifetime of experience and founded Blackhawk Painting Inc. with a simple goal: to provide a level of precision and personal accountability that large crews simply cannot replicate.

Why I Choose to Work Solo

After running larger crews in the past, I made a conscious decision to return to my roots as an individual craftsman. I found that when a company gets too big, the owner spends more time behind a desk than behind a brush—and the quality often suffers the further you get from the source.

Today, I run a “tight ship” because I value total control over the results. When you hire me, you are getting:

I specialize in interior work year-round, with a dedicated window for exterior projects from late May through mid-October. My philosophy is simple: I’m not interested in being the fastest or the biggest company in the area—I’m interested in being the one you trust to do the job correctly the first time.
